When I came home this evening, I instantly noticed the lack of noise from the Bay Bridge in the background. It isn’t a very loud noise that I miss tonight, but it is a pretty constant hum with accentuated noise from motorcycles and big trucks that I distinctly miss this evening while sitting in my home. I almost wonder if it is too much of a treat … that I will miss the almost complete silence after Monday evening/Tuesday morning when the Bay Bridge is scheduled to re-open.
