I saw this information in a post on SFist.com the other day, and I thought it was useful to share.
In Rincon Hill, taxi cabs tend to linger near the Courtyard Marriott at 2nd and Folsom, around the Transbay Terminal between Fremont and First on Mission Street, on Folsom between Steuart and Spear, and around Mission and Steuart Streets.
