There was a very good article by Robert Selna in today’s San Francisco Chronicle that discussed the financial and bureaucratic challenges for The Port of San Francisco to create a recurring stream of income to fund their operations and to take care of the piers that the State of California allowed to dilapidate for years before handing them over to the City for care and feeding.
