If you have some spare time and the weather is cooperating, I’d recommend you go check out Castro and Market streets via the Muni Metro. Unless the Harvey Milk movie production has already packed their things up, you might enjoy seeing the storefronts on Castro Street remade to resemble their appearances circa 1978.
Don’t get too excited about the Chevron sign advertising regular gasoline for 63 cents a gallon - it is just part of the movie setting.
Let’s hope more movie productions come to the City in the near future to help fuel our local economy and civic pride.
