While most of us aren’t able to get anywhere near last year’s winning bid of $650,100 to have lunch with sage investor Warren Buffet and up to 7 of our friends for the 2008 auction of the same, we can probably spare a donation of $25 or so to help support the wonderful work performed by the workers and volunteers at the Glide Foundation and the related Glide Church.

The current bid (about 9:30am on Monday, June 23rd) is $40,100. You have until Friday, June 27th at 7:00 p.m. to get pre-qualified in order to make a bid and to belly up to the bar and make a bid. Again, while this is fascinating to observe and wonderful of Mr. Buffett to raise money for Glide Foundation, we can all give a little via their online donation page.
