FYI, you’ll want to give yourself lots of time if you planned on driving across the Bay Bridge this afternoon/early evening. A fire on the west side of Yerba Buena Island is slowing traffic to a crawl – the fire department also has the southern most lanes on the top and bottom levels closed in… Keep reading

The high-speed rail bond measure (State Proposition 1) originally indicated monies raised from the bond issue could only be used for connecting San Francisco to Los Angeles.
