The San Francisco Redevelopment Agency released the RFP for Transbay Block 8 in the Rincon Hill neighborhood. I’m not sure how long they’ll have the animals there in front of the Ferry Building, just north of the main entrances facing The Embarcadero, but I’d guess they’ll be there until 3 or 4pm at least. I just ran across a post on SFist.com indicating that movie making legend George Lucas gave $50,000 personally and his company Lucasfilms kicked in another $50,000 to the Vote NO on Prop 8 campaign. These donations are much needed. Add Lucasfilms to the list of companies that we should salute and support for standing up… Keep reading
