AT&T Meeting Regarding New Above Ground Utility Boxes

The Coalition for San Francisco Neighborhoods sent out a note that there will be meetings held by AT&T to give the public an opportunity to voice concern about new utility boxes the company wishes to install in our neighborhoods. Please attend and ask that AT&T install the boxes underground – sidewalk space is precious in some areas, the boxes sometimes block drivers from seeing pedestrians, and they’re a magnet for graffitti.

The District 6 meeting is tomorrow, December 10th starting at 7pm at the SOMA Recreation Center
at 270 6th Street in the Auditorium.

Read more about the boxes on page 5 of CSFN’s November 2008 newsletter.
