The City and County of San Francisco is looking to create a Citizen’s Advisory Committee for the Better Market Street Project. The goal of this project is to create a unifying vision to revitalize Market Street to be more than just a transportation route, but a world class vibrant public space through public realm improvements and enhancements.
The Better Market Street (BMS) project is a multi-agency initiative that will require substantial outreach efforts; which will employ a number of strategies in order to ensure broad participation and community feedback throughout the life of the project. One means of achieving this effort is through the formation of a 15-member Citizen’s Advisory Committee (CAC). The city is encouraging individuals to apply and become a part of an initiative that will ultimately inform and transform Market Street.
