Have a DMV ID? Register to Vote Online

There is a very important election coming up in November, and you just have a few weeks to get registered to vote (deadline is October 22nd!) if you have not already registered.  If you have a California DMV drivers license of ID card, you can now register to vote online!  Visit the California Secretary of State website to register to vote today! To make voting super easy, be sure to request to become a Permanent Vote-By-Mail voter so that you can vote in the comfort of your home a few weeks before election day and drop your ballot in the mail at your leisure a 4-5 business days before the election (to be sure the ballot arrives at the Department of Elections by election day and is counted).

To learn about San Francisco ballot items and candidates, you can visit the City and County of San Francisco’s Elections Department website’s November 6, 2012 Election webpage.

Check your voter registration status in San Francisco online if you’re uncertain whether or not you’re already registered to vote.
