Peregrine Falcon Fans Gather in Rincon Hill on Thursdays after 5pm

Walking home from work last week, I noticed a group of people with binoculars and other visual instruments pointed at PG&E headquarters. The reason? A pair of peregrine falcons, nicknamed Dapper Dan and Diamond Lil, have a nest with four eggs at the building. The Chronicle has a feature article about this little bit of nature in downtown San Francisco.
You can join the group over the next few weeks after 5pm at the corners of Main and Mission. You can also check out the peregrine falcons via a web cam at http://www.scpbrg.org/
