State Senators: Protect our San Francisco Bay waters and oppose AB 1273
Hi SoMa waterfront neighbors,
I created a petition to Senator Fran Pavley, Senator Anthony Cannella, and 10 others titled “State Senators: Protect our San Francisco Bay waters and oppose AB 1273” because I do not believe that over 48 years of thoughtful planning and environmental impact assessments by the state regulatory bodies of the Bay Conservation and Development Commission and the State Lands Commission should be cast aside for billionaires who want to pour tons of concrete into San Francisco Bay and build an arena.
Just look at the nightmare and costly mistakes of the eastern span of the Bay Bridge bolts and the millions of dollars that the City will have to eat to pay for the billionaire boys’ boat races (America’s Cup) in San Francisco this summer because the political wheels were greased to avoid thoughtful scrutiny.

Thanks – and please pass this along! The meeting of the Senate Committee next looking at AB 1273 happens Tuesday morning, June 25th!
