Speak Up on Proposed MUNI Service Cuts
|April 15, 2009||Posted by jamie under Activism, Non-Profits||
The SFMTA Budget Deficit of $128.9 million for the next fiscal year will likely be balanced by increasing user fares beyond what is already planned for July 1st and by cutting services. The biggest impact on the Rincon Hill neighborhood among the proposed service reductions is the elimination of N-Judah muni metro rail service between Embarcadero Station and Caltrain (4th and King Streets) on the weekends.
If you don’t want to accept the short end of the stick in this deal, you need to speak up now. What can you do?
