America’s Cup 34 World Series Transit Guide

The SFMTA and other Bay Area transit agencies have been busily working out the plans for getting people to Marina Green and other viewing locations for the August 21 – August 26 and October 2 – October 7 America’s Cup 34 World Series Races.
Residents along the waterfront will have the opportunity to ride the long-talked about E-Embarcadero line from 4th and King Street (Caltrain) all the way up to Pier 39 along The Embarcadero on the weekend of August 25th and 26th. To help visitors and others know how to utilize the E-Embarcadero line on that weekend, the South Beach | Rincon | Mission Bay Neighborhood Association is helping to recruit volunteers to inform folks of the transit options. Please attend the August 13th SBRMBNA meeting at 6pm at the South Beach Harbor Services Building to learn more about how you can help out at one of the four stations between Folsom and Caltrain for the E-Embarcadero line.
In the meanwhile, fresh off the presses, so-to-speak, is a new transit guide especially made for the AC 34 World Series events. Please check it out and pass it around via your building’s email system so that neighbors know what’s available on those event weekends.
