Line Up for Tickets to the People's Premiere of MILK (the movie)

I’m thrilled that Senator Barack Obama is our President-Elect. What a wonderful opportunity to bring Americans together and try to shut out the past 8 years of divisive, hateful politics.

One of San Francisco’s great citizens and leaders was Harvey Milk. In case you haven’t heard, there’s a movie coming out in wide release after Thanksgiving starring Sean Penn as Harvey Milk. You don’t have to wait until late November to see it though if you can head over to the new Castro Levi’s Store at 525 Castro Street on Thursday, November 6th starting at Noon to get a couple of a limited quantity of passes to attend a special screening sponsored by Levi’s as a gift to the city of San Francisco on Monday, November 10th at the Castro Theatre.

I imagine folks will need to line up well before Noon on Thursday, but you never know with these things. Learn more about the movie at www.MilkTheMovie.com
