Musical Fix for your Rainy Sunday

Although I did wander out in the rain to have a breakfast at Red’s Java House this morning, the crummy weather has left me surfing for new music artists. I came across a guy I’ve never heard of before in my meandering through iTunes, and he happens to be based in San Francisco. The artist’s name is Josh Fix.
The sound is kinda like 1970’s multi-layered vocals and keyboard heavy rock from Queen, and I think I’ve mentioned before that Queen is easily my favorite band of all time. Check him out … you can hear his songs by visiting his web site at www.JoshFix.com
If you enjoy the sound, consider going to see him this Saturday, 12/20/2008, when he performs at Hayes Valley’s The Rickshaw Stop at 155 Fell Street at 8:30 p.m. ($10 cover). You can take Muni Metro N or K/T to the Van Ness stop, come up the exit on the west side of Van Ness, and Fell Street is just a few blocks up Van Ness – hang a left and walk a little over a block. Can’t make this Saturday’s show but want to see him live? Pencil in January 29th at Cafe Du Nord.
