The San Francisco Arts Commission is working with the Recreation and Park Department to commission a public artwork as part of the development of a new mini park on Guy Place. Three artists were selected by a Public Art Selection Panel to create proposals: Jenny Balisle, Adriane Colburn and Bovey Lee. These artists were asked to create artwork designs which could be translated into cut metal and integrated into the fence and entry gates along the frontage of the park in order to make a strong visual impact and help give the park a unique identity.

Please take a few minutes to review these artwork proposals at 4-8 Guy Place, San Francisco, CA 94105 or online and provide feedback via email, mail or hand delivery. Public comments will be considered by the Selection Panel as part of the Final Selection Panel meeting, where the Panel will recommend one proposal for implementation. Please note that public comments do not constitute a vote. Learn more…
