Learn about Rincon Hill’s Supportive Housing Project for Formerly Homeless Individuals
|July 29, 2013||Posted by jamie under Buildings, Meetings||
108 studio units and 12 one-bedroom units for formerly homeless individuals with supportive services are almost built out at Rene Cazenave Apartments on Folsom Street between 1st and 2nd Streets. As a community, I think we really need to try hard to make the residents at this building feel just as welcome and respected as residents of any other building. That may take some extra compassion from each of us, but I think we live in San Francisco in part because of the acceptance and welcoming nature of the City towards everyone.
Please attend this meeting hosted by Community Housing Partnership, manager of the Rene Cazenave Apartments on Folsom at Essex. It will give us a chance to develop a relationship with the folks who will work at the building. Let’s hope it can become as big of a community success story as Delancey Street Foundation a couple of blocks away on The Embarcadero!
