Earthquake Preparedness Talk

While I highly recommend that you take advantage of the full blown NERT training sooner rather than later and getting involved with the South Beach NERT group to participate in drills to keep your newly learned skills well practiced, here’s a brief weekend session at the Mission Bay branch public library about earthquake preparedness.

Hi everyone,

As some of you know, I have been giving talks about home earthquake preparedness at UCSF locations and SF Public Library branches, and these are continuing this year. The next one is coming soon to this part of town, at the Mission Bay SF library (4th and Berry) on January 24 at 2:00. There are also other presentation times that might be more convenient for people who are interested, at the Main library and at UCSF Mission Bay, in addition to other parts of town. If you want to attend one, you can check an updated schedule at

The UCSF talks are open to the public even though you may have to sign in with a guard at the Mission Bay location.

Cheers,
Matt
