NERT practice drill participants
The San Francisco Fire Department provides free disaster training to San Franciscans who want to learn how to prepare for a disaster. Watch for upcoming training dates at www.sfgov.org/sffdnert
The events listed below are primarily intended for residents who have already completed the NERT training, but it gives you an idea of the follow-up practice drills and additional training available. Please sign up for NERT training today – it will be too late once the 6.0 or greater earthquake happens and our City’s paid first responders are overwhelmed. Every condo building should have a disaster plan and some organization as to how residents will check on each other (and each others’ pets, kids, etc.) and assess damage and injuries.
Still a spectator expecting others to take care of things? Snap out of it! Get trained and be self-sufficient!
