Don't Miss Thursday's Harvey Milk City Hall Memorial Gala!

With last week’s Supreme Court decision that struck down the law banning same-sex marriages in California as unconstitutional, I suspect this Thursday’s Harvey Milk Statue Unveiling Party/Gala at City Hall will be a wonderful, happy evening for the entire City family (everybody – regardless of your orientation) that you won’t want to miss. The event runs from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at City Hall.
Get more information at the Harvey Milk City Hall Memorial Unveiling web page.
Please also consider donating to the Equality for All campaign to preserve equal rights for committed couples regardless of the genders of the two people in love. There will likely be a November ballot initiative in California to change the state’s Constitution to create a second class status for same-sex couples. Millions of dollars have already been raised from around the country to promote hate in our state. Please do not be apathetic about your or your neighbor’s dignity and freedoms. Donate today!
Back to a lighter note, don’t forget to head over to the Mission neighborhood this weekend for Carnaval San Francisco 2008!
