Join Neighbors for Opera at the Ballpark on Friday
|June 2, 2009||Posted by jamie under Events||
If you were thinking of going to this Friday’s FREE San Francisco Opera at the Ballpark event at AT&T Park, you’re welcome to join me and your other neighbors from Rincon Hill, South Beach, and Mission Bay (we’re calling ourselves the Waterfront Socialites at the moment because it is a fun name). You just need to RSVP and print out a ticket to enter the ballpark at 6:30 pm. After you’ve RSVP’d and got your ticket, send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org with “Opera in the Ballpark” in the subject line so that I can let you know via email where we’ll meet up before entering the ballpark for a community picnic and then Puccini’s Tosca opera simulcast live on AT&T Park’s high-definition scoreboard from San Francisco’s War Memorial Opera House on Van Ness Avenue. Check the event web page for rules on what can be brought into the ballpark. The most pertinent rules regarding food and drink are below …
Unsealed plastic bottles and soft-sided containers will be subject to inspection and may be confiscated. Glass and metal cans are not permitted. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted from outside the ballpark for any AT&T Park event. Metal utensils, hard-sided coolers and picnic baskets are not permitted. Sealed plastic bottles and soft-sided juice containers containing non-alcoholic beverages are allowed in AT&T Park. Bring blankets to sit on the field; no lawn or beach chairs will be permitted. AT&T Park Concessions will be open for the simulcast.
Please be sure to RSVP and print your ticket today!
