Namesake Coincidences – Infinity and Millennium Cruise Ships Dock in San Francisco this Friday

While reading through today’s San Francisco Chronicle newspaper, the article about numerous cruise ships coming into the Bay had a couple of names that caught my Rincon Hill obsessed eye.

This Friday, October 3rd, Celebrity Cruises boats named Infinity and Millennium will both dock in San Francisco for a visit.

According to the Port of San Francisco’s 2008 Cruise Schedule (updated September 15, 2008), Infinity will be docked at Pier 35 South between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and Millennium will be docked at Pier 27 between 1:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. It might be neat, if possible, to get a photo of yourself with the cruise boat that shares the name of your current or future Rincon Hill neighborhood home.

In the meanwhile, I’m sure the sales center folks at the Rincon Hill neighborhood developments named The Infinity and Millennium would welcome a visit from potential buyers this week too. 🙂

As an aside, there’s also a good article in today’s Chronicle discussing how San Francisco’s Board of Supervisors’ political tilt is up for grabs this November 4th. You have until October 20th to register to vote – and please do register to be a permanent vote by mail voter so that you can vote at your leisure prior to election day (ballots typically arrive in mailboxes about a month before the election day).
