New Year's Fireworks Display
|December 27, 2007||Posted by jamie under Events||
Living adjacent to the waterfront has its advantages – and one of them is close proximity to the City’s free New Year’s Fireworks Display set to begin at Midnight to mark the start of 2008 and to last for about 18 minutes.
The fireworks will be launched from barges on the San Francisco Bay about 1,000 feet from Pier 14 (where the spider sculpture sits south of the Amtrak and Ferry buildings).
There will be no food, music or entertainment venues. San Francisco Police will strictly enforce prohibitions on drinking in public during the event.
