RSVP Now for Wednesday’s Ngoma Dance benefit
Be part of the re-birth of San Francisco’s Rincon Hill neighborhood. An evening of African and modern dance, fine wine and culinary treats. We will bring to you all the great attractions the Rincon Hill Neighborhood has to offer. Dance Performances by Dimitri Chaplin from the FOX television show, “So You Think You Can Dance?”
National Headliner and Comedian Mark Pitta will be your MC for the evening.
Fundraising Goal:The orphanage needs a borehole on the compound to save water. The current water bill is past due and the Home is threatened to lose its water supply. The borehole will lead to significant savings in water cost. Our goal for the evening is to raise funds to support this and other self sustaining projects.
To achieve the Home’s goals, the orphange relies solely on the generosity of individuals and corporate well wishers in terms of donations both in cash and kind. These include food, clothing, medical care, educational sponsorship, and other basic necessities of life. In the event of occasional failure to get such support, it has been extremely difficult to run programs and the home in general. The children are very grateful to past and present donors who have continued to keep the home running, but we appeal for more support especially in cash as we strive to improve and maintain the living standards of the children under their care.
