San Francisco LGBT Pride Weekend

The month of June has been full of LGBT community pride activities as we approach the crescendo of events on the weekend of June 27th and 28th. The official web site for San Francisco Pride is www.SFPride.org.
On both June 27th and 28th, there will be music an fun in Civic Center to celebrate pride. From Noon until 6pm on Saturday (June 27) and from Noon until 7pm on Sunday (June 28), there will be multiple stages set up and al sorts of dancing going on.
The big event is the Pride Parade on Sunday morning starting at 10:30am. Luckily for us, it starts on the edge of the Rincon Hill neighborhood on Market Street at Beale, so we can probably meander around the parade floats and watch folks put their finishing touches on things as they line up along Rincon Hill’s NW/SE streets connecting to Market Street.
If you don’t want to come out (pun intended), you can watch Comcast channel 99 starting at 10 a.m. or a live webcast at SFPrideLive.com at 10 a.m.
Plan to come out to Market Street for the parade at a minimum – you’ll surely laugh, possibly cry, and probably feel great that you live in one of the most welcoming and freedom-loving cities in the world.
