Rincon Hill, South Beach, and Mission Bay neighbors who would like to meet, to socialize, and to enjoy one of The San Francisco Chronicle’s 2007 Top 100 Bay Area Restaurants should RSVP as soon as possible (October 30th deadline) for the www.SouthBeachMissionBay.com Neighborhood Night event at Ozumo (161 Steuart Street) on Sunday, November 4, 2007 from 5:30PM until ??.
RSVP instructions: Go to www.SouthBeachMissionBay.com and click on the Contact Us link and fill out the Register for an Event form.
I always manage to have travel plans when these things occur (I’ll be in New York this particular weekend to see Mel Brooks’s new musical Young Frankenstein), but I understand from a good friend who lives at Portside that they are fabulous events with the hosting restaurants often hitting capacity (reason to RSVP ASAP), great conversation, free food (anyone for sushi? 5:30pm – 7:30pm only), and one of the best selections of sake in the country (along with other beverages). The drinks are not free – Ozumo has to make money from this event, so please be sure to help support this beloved local restaurant.
In addition to socializing, you can also learn about our future Neighborhood Association for South Beach, Mission Bay, and Rincon Hill (yeah!!).
Hope to see you at one of these great neighborhood events in the future!
