From the bicycle coalition:
The design team working on connecting San Francisco and Oakland with a bicycle and pedestrian path on the Bay Bridge has been working hard over the last several months, and they’re ready to share their preliminary findings. We need your input as the planning effort moves forward. This is the first public meeting regarding the Bay Bridge West Span’s bicycle and pedestrian path.
The internationally-renowned design firm Arup has been working on a variety of technical analysis and they’ll be sharing their initial findings and seeking your input at the first public meeting on Jan. 20. We’ll be discussing important questions like where the path should land in San Francisco and which side of the West Span bridge the path should be on. If you’re good at 3D visualization, want to dream big and could see yourself biking between San Francisco and Oakland, here’s your chance.
