Central Corridor Project Update for the Community

The Central Corridor Project is a bit west of Rincon Hill, but we will more than likely be walking around that area with a Target Store set to open up on 4th and Mission in November 2012 and Yerba Buena Gardens being one of our few open space recreation areas in downtown San Francisco.
After a wonderful, thorough initial round of presenting the plans to many community groups in SoMa and otherwise, the project team is hosting a Central Corridor Project Update meeting on Tuesday, November 29th from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at SPUR’s offices at 654 Mission Street (between New Montgomery and 3rd Street).
The experience for pedestrians is very important for most of us – and the more we can help the South of Market District become a safer area for pedestrians and bicyclists (and car drivers for that matter), the better. This project offers an opportunity to provide feedback and suggestions to improve the pedestrian experience in South of Market and the Yerba Buena neighborhood. Please try to get involved!
