First Northeast Embarcadero Study Public Workshop

The San Francisco Planning Department is pleased to announce the first Northeast Embarcadero Study Workshop

At the request of Supervisor Chiu, the Planning Department is initiating a study of the Port properties on the west side of The Embarcadero between Washington and North Point streets that are currently being used as parking lots. The study will result in design guidelines and plans for improving the public realm.

This will be the first of three public workshops we will conduct over the next few months. At this first workshop, we will introduce the process, discuss the public issues and concerns, and set the vision and goals. All residents, business owners, and others with an interest in the waterfront are invited to attend.
