From the Mayor’s Office (thank you, Jason Chan, for sending the notice!):

Please join Mayor Gavin Newsom for a community discussion on recreation and parks in San Francisco.

This is an opportunity to learn about what the City is doing to improve our parks and expand recreational opportunities, and to share your ideas for improvements.

When: This Saturday, July 28, 2007 from 10:00am to Noon
Where: Jefferson Elementary School, 1725 Irving Street (at 18th Avenue)

The location is wheelchair accessible; Real-Time Captioning and Assisted Listening Devices will be provided. For other accomodations, please contact the Mayor’s Office on Disability: telephone 554-6789, TTY 554-6799. Providing 72 hours notice will help to ensure availability of the accomodation.

This is an opportunity to tell the Mayor we him and his successors (since it may take 8 years to happen) to make sure we have some additional park space in Rincon Hill.
