Rincon Point – South Beach Citizens Advisory Committee Meeting

The photo (at right) shows the Rincon Park Restaurants project under development on the Embarcadero near Cupid’s Span in Rincon Park. It is a visual example of why the Rincon Hill and Transbay area needs a platform for residents and other concerned citizens to communicate and organize. The restaurant project might ultimately be a great economic impetus for more service oriented businesses for residents, workers, and visitors. However, it takes away precious green space in an area without much green space to start.
I encourage all residents and other interested parties to attend the Rincon Point – South Beach Citizens Advisory Committee Meetings tentatively scheduled for the third Monday of every other month. The next meeting is this afternoon.
Meeting on March 19, 2007 at 5:00PM
