Two Warriors Arena-related Meetings Week of 12/3/2012!
|November 29, 2012||Posted by jamie under Meetings||
The furious (ridiculous?!?) pace of Warriors Arena related meetings continues the week of December 3, 2012 … Meetings will happen on both Tuesday, December 4, 2012 (Transportation workgroup meeting) and on Thursday, December 6, 2012 (regular CAC meeting scheduled out of the blue – but I’m told we may finally get some sanity with a set schedule each month of 1st and 3rd Mondays or something set in stone to plan around). Both meetings start at 6 pm and both will be held at the Port of San Francisco offices at Pier 1, Bayside Conference Room, The Embarcadero (across from Washington Street, just north of the Ferry Building).
Here’s the Tuesday, 12/4/2012 at 6pm at Pier 1 (Port of SF offices) meeting information:
Dear Piers 30-32 Interested Citizens and CAC Members:
This is a reminder to please join us for a Transportation Workshop next week:

a. Discussion about how existing objectives fit within Waterfront Transportation Assessment, and where they may need refinement
3. Illustrate nexus between existing objectives and identifying potential transportation solutions
4. Exercise to review and refine concept(s) for potential transportation solutions
The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency, in partnership with the SF Port and the Mayor’s Office of Economic and Workforce Development, would like to invite you to the second community workshop to discuss transportation along the San Francisco Waterfront and Embarcadero corridor. Attached is the flyer for distribution.
We were able to solicit very valuable comments from the first workshop. At this second workshop, we will review the summary of feedback we have heard to date and evaluate them with key existing City-wide and Area Plan Transportation Goals & Objectives in and around the waterfront area.
- Take stock of goals and objectives already “in the books”;
- Refine and tailor goals as needed to reflect priorities for the Waterfront Transportation Assessment;
- Illustrate how we can use the goals to develop possible solutions to mitigate major transportation concerns.
When: Tuesday, December 4
Where: Pier 1, Bayside Conference Room (accessible by MUNI Metro)
What: Transportation Workshop #2
