Mimi Silbert and Delancey Street in Today's Chronicle

If you’ve enjoyed a breakfast at Delancey Street restaurant or some Mitchell’s ice cream at Crossroads Cafe or maybe used Delancey Street Moving or bought a Christmas Tree over on Pier 32, you have come in contact with our neighbors at South Beach’s Delancey Street villas who are working hard at successfully turning around their lives. Today’s San Francisco Chronicle had a very nice article about Mimi Silbert and the Delancey Street Foundation she co-founded in 1971. If you haven’t eaten at Delancey Street restaurant or spent some time hanging out at Crossroads Cafe, I recommend you give them a try.
