BBBC Group Clean Up and Dog Play Time

I wouldn’t want my vacationing in Italy to result in my neighbors’ missing out on an opportunity for their dogs to play off the lease in our future dog park at Bryant and Beale Street. Here’s the details from Bryant Bay Bridge Corridor Clean Up co-leader Marty:
It looks like nice weather this Saturday. Good opportunity to bring the dog out or just drop-in and say “hi” to a neighbor!
It is the second Saturday of the month (October 10th), so we will be opening up the Beale / Bryant Street lot from 9:30 am till 1:oo pm for anyone that wants to drop-in for some very minor lot maintenance. Now that it looks terrific, we just want to keep it that way.
More importantly, bring your dog(s) in for a romp in the open space or just stop by to chat with the neighbors. No work required.
Hope to see you on Saturday morning and feel free to pass the word.
FYI – Remember – Owners are legally responsible for their dog(s) and any damage and/or injury caused by their dog(s).
Here are a couple of other thoughts borrowed from the Walnut Creek Dog Park.
It is your responsibility to watch your dog(s) at all times when you are in the …(open space).
Please clean up after your dog(s).
It’s also nice to clean up any unclaimed piles when you come across one.
Food, treats, etc. are not allowed.
Be prepared to share toys.
Monitor your dog for inappropriate behavior.
Handle any conflict with kindness and good manners.
If your dog is misbehaving, leash him/her and remove your pet from the park (open space) and enforce a “timeout”.
