Bocce Ball Courts Gift at Land Use Committee on Monday

If you have any public comments you would like to make on the Bocce Ball courts gift that we learned about on August 7th in Rachel Gordon’s article in the Chronicle, the item is on the Land Use Committee’s meeting agenda for this Monday at 1pm at City Hall.

I will likely attend and thank the Recreation and Parks Department for coming to our community meeting on August 24th and for hosting their own meeting on September 7th about this issue. It was the lack of community outreach that got my shorts in a knot – I have no opinion about whether the grassy space should stay grassy space or if a couple of bocce ball courts would be a better use. I am focused on getting a childrens playground built nearby that space … that’s my current personal goal.
