China Basin Seawall 337 Redevelopment Proposals

In case you didn’t see the rendering of the redevelopment proposal by the San Francisco Giants folks for Parking Lot A (Seawall 337) in today’s San Francisco Chronicle, take a look online. There is an accompanying article as well.
Anything would be better than a surface parking lot, in my humble opinion, but they do need parking for AT&T Park events.
Whatever plan wins approval, we should see it come to fruition right around the same time as the new Transbay Transit Center is projected to wrap up. The waterfront neighborhoods of Rincon Hill, South Beach, and Mission Bay are already great locations … but these new amenities, along with a possible move of the UCSF hospital to Mission Bay (if they can get the money to do so while Parnassus gets adjusted for earthquake safety), should help enhance our quality of life even more.
