Informational Meeting on Proposed Development of Seawall Lot 337 (Parking Lot "A" in Mission Bay)

The Port is pleased to report that on January 15th, 2009, it received a proposal for the mixed-use development of SWL 337. The proposal has been posted to the Port’s website (link: http://www.sfgov.org/site/port_page.asp?id=56101).

The developer entity is comprised of:
San Francisco Giants
Wilson Meany Sullivan
Kenwood Investments
The Cordish Company
Stockbridge Capital
Farallon Capital Management, LLC.

In broad terms, the submittal land use breaks down as follows:
875 units of rental residential units
1 million s.f. of office space
240,000 s.f. of retail space
181,000 s.f. of exhibit/event space at Pier 48
8.7 acres of public open space (including a 5+ acre park at the north end
of the site)
2,650 parking spaces

The developer will be making an informational presentation to the Port Commission on Tuesday, February 10, 2009, 4:30 p.m. at the Ferry Building and at a Public Workshop scheduled for mid-March 2009 (date and location forthcoming). At the conclusion of the review process, the Port’s SWL 337 Advisory Panel will present its recommendation to the Port Commission which will then direct staff.
