Mission Rock Community Design Workshop Saturday, October 27th

While the Mission Rock development at Giants Parking Lot A (SWL 337) is a little bit outside of the Rincon Hill neighborhood (it is south of the ballpark on 3rd Street), it will still play an important role in providing much-needed public open space for the 20,000 residents projected for our neighborhood and the tens of thousands more coming to other Mission Bay and other parts of SoMa as the City upzones in order to increase growth in revenues.

MISSION ROCK COMMUNITY DESIGN WORKSHOP
WHEN: October 27, 2012 9:30am – 12:00pm
WHAT: Design workshop for the mixed-use Mission Rock Development,
aka Seawall Lot 337 & Pier 48, aka Giants Parking Lot A
9:30 – 10:00 am: Coffee and light breakfast
10:00am – 12:00pm: Working session on urban design, building forms, and
neighborhood plans for open space, transportation, retail needs, etc.
WHY: Come hear Port, City, and Mission Rock Development
representatives present their project design studies and concepts for this
exciting new neighborhood. This workshop invites the community to
discuss proposed options and ideas, and to further refine the project
design objectives and development program. Make your voice heard as we
explore possible design options together and review studies that have been
done to date.
WHERE: AT&T Park. Enter at the Suite Lobby Entrance on Willie Mays
Plaza at the corner of 3rd and King Streets.
