Rincon Hill Dog Park excavation work begins

A little more than two months after the official groundbreaking, workers are not moving earth around at Beale and Bryant Streets as part of the development of the Rincon Hill Dog Park. The park is slated to be complete this fall. It will contain a large and a small dog area for off-leash exercise and fun for your dogs!

From the Caltrans folks:

Beginning Monday, April 18, 2011 at 6 AM until Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 1 PM crews will begin the excavation process at the dog park location. This operation will not take place during the weekend April 23 & 24, 2011.

§ Excavation begins approximately 6:00 AM, loading off-haul trucks until approximately 1:00 PM.

§ Noise associated with trucking and backup alarms will be audible.

§ Dust control measures will be in place.

§ Flaggers will be in place to assist directing traffic.
