In Memoriam: Norman Rolfe

San Francisco thankfully has many regular citizens who voluntarily commit time and efforts to learn and to advocate for sensible planning for big projects.  When Norm Rolfe passed away  last Friday, January 15th,  at the age 0f 84, we lost one of our most committed and astute advocates of pedestrian safety and sensible transportation planning.  I knew Norm from the Transbay JPA Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) and Transbay CAC meetings I’ve attended along with many SPUR functions about transit-related subjects and Walk San Francisco events.  He was definitely one of the good guys, and I will miss his questions at those public meetings going forward.  Read a full write- up at BeyondChron.
