Warriors Arena and SWL 330 Scoping and EIR Preparation Notice

The SCOPING for the Environmental Impact Report has begun. If this is your first EIR rodeo, here are a couple of resources:

January 16th is the end of the period to submit comments, so get whatever environmental issues you believe might arise … either from this project alone or from the cumulative impacts of Transbay, Central Subway, 10,000 more residents, 65,000 more office workers just north of us, etc… emailed in ASAP. Send emails every single day if you think of some new aspect that should be evaluated.

I think every one of us should at least name intersections that we believe are already too congested and will become even more congested … and we should all
ask that the San Francisco Department of Public Health’s “Healthy Development Measurement Tool” be used to measure impacts on air quality, noise, pedestrian dangers, and other LIVABILITY issues. We need to insist on this … these are environmental health issues (not to mention the whole Ambulances delayed getting to our homes thing).
