RHNA Meeting Follow-Up

A big thank you to Susan and Yvette at The Infinity for graciously hosting the July 2009 Rincon Hill Neighborhood Association meeting. Thanks also to the 45 neighbors and friends who joined us in order to keep informed and to ask questions about what’s going on in the Rincon Hill neighborhood.

Thank you to Robert Beck, Senior Program Manager with the Transbay JPA. The two web site he referenced at the end were www.TransbayCenter.org and www.TemporaryTerminal.org

I sent Bob the follow-up questions from attendees. Jeffrey Heller (yes, that world famous architect Jeffrey Heller) asked about the traffic flows on Folsom for private cars. RHNA member Sameer asked about getting a copy of the presentation – I’ll see if that’s available for posting online. Here’s a small snippet of video:

We had a surprise appearance from Chairman of the California High-Speed Rail Authority, Judge (and former San Francisco Supervisor) Quentin Kopp. Unfortunately, the meeting had already ended when he came into The Infinity’s Club Lounge … I’ll see if we might be able to get a presentation on High-Speed Rail down the road.

Also, thank you to Noriko from Assemblyman Tom Ammiano’s office who graciously stopped by our meeting and let us know that Assemblyman Ammiano is there to help or to answer questions.

I look forward to seeing y’all again on August 4th at 6:30pm at the Sailors’ Union of the Pacific building for the next Rincon Hill Neighborhood Association meeting.
