Rincon Hill Neighborhood Association meets Tuesday – RSVP Today!
|August 30, 2009||Posted by jamie under RHNA|
Please join your neighbors on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at 6:30pm at The Infinity’s Club Lounge (go up the stairs to the right when entering Infinity’s courtyard from Main Street side) for our next Rincon Hill Neighborhood Association meeting. Tell your building neighbors about our meeting. Please RSVP to give us an idea of how many attendees to expect.
The agenda includes …
6:30pm – Welcome!
6:35pm – Learn about the services of our meeting sponsor, Current Health Medical Group. Thank you to Current Health for water and light snacks for our meeting.
6:40pm – Dan Hodapp, Senior Planner with the Port of San Francisco, updates Rincon Hill neighbors on waterfront projects, including the new park/open space project known as the Brannan Street Wharf. Dan can also talk about plans to improve the Embarcadero Pedestrian Promenade and other Port projects.
7:00pm – John King, writer for The San Francisco Chronicle, joins us to discuss changes to the Rincon Hill Neighborhood and timely topics related to San Francisco’s always changing urban landscape.
7:20pm – Marty Coressel, a fellow waterfront neighbor, will tell us about the Bryant Bay Bridge Corridor Adopt-A-Street neighborhood group and how you can get involved to help keep our neighborhood clean. Grafitti, glass from smashed car windows (ouch! that hurts dogs’ paws), weeds, and litter are all things we can pick up. Learn more via this flyer.
7:30pm – Adjournment of formal meeting – feel free to hang out and socialize for 20-30 minutes (and help put furniture back in place to help me save my back (grin)).
The Rincon Hill Neighborhood Association will not be meeting on October 6th, but there may be a social get together … sign up for the RHNA e-mail list to stay informed!
