Thank you to Local Kitchen, Cocoon, oola, and Carl Nolte

Earlier this evening, the Rincon Hill Neighborhood Association met at One Rincon Hill’s Hospitality Room. While normally we have some water and knick knacks for attendees to snack on, we were treated to delicious ribs from oola restaurant  and pizza and wine from Local Kitchen & Wine Merchant (sister restaurants).  Please be sure to thank Ola Fendert and Maria Hilario-Fendert the next time you see them at one of their restaurants, oola and Local Kitchen & Wine Merchant, for supporting the Rincon Hill Neighborhood Association.

Sarah Redmond from Cocoon Urban Day Spa also visited with us this evening, and reminded us of the spa, yoga, and other personal care services her local business provides.  Be sure to thank Sarah for supporting the Rincon Hill Neighborhood Association the next time you’re getting a massage or manicure/pedicure at Cocoon.

During the month of April, if you formally join the Rincon Hill Neighborhood Association and pay membership dues, you will receive a discount card worth 10% off at both oola and Local Kitchen & Wine Merchant good for the month of April and a special coupon from Cocoon that allows you to get a free spa mani when you book a cocooning pedicure.  Individual memberships are $25 and family/dual memberships are $30 for one year; merchants can join for $50 and corporations (over 10  employees) for $100. Please email me at jamie@rinconhillneighbors.org for a membership application (hopefully, we’ll have something set up online soon).

Finally, a big thank you to Carl Nolte for sharing some of his knowledge and stories about San Francisco – especially Herb Caen and the constant changes our City experiences over time.  I’d love to have him come back  and speak at a future meeting so that we can learn more about San Francisco’s rich history.

Thank you to the neighbors who joined us for the meeting this evening – and especially to those of you who became founding members of the Rincon Hill Neighborhood Association.  See you tentatively on May 5th for our next RHNA meeting!
