1,000 visits to RinconHillSF.org in one day

Just a quick thanks to you all for letting your neighbors know about my Rincon Hill neighborhood blog. Started in February 2007, the average daily visits has moved up fairly consistently. On the 25th of this month, more than 1,000 visits occurred to the site for the first time in a single day (1,078 to be exact). The average number of daily visits on a monthly basis now hovers between 800 and 850.

While I do wish more folks would engage, post, and share information on the blog, I appreciate your visits and attention all the same in the hope that the end result is the development of a community fabric, so-to-speak, and an improved quality of life over time in the Rincon Hill neighborhood. Hopefully, you’ll feel more compelled to offer your own blog entries for RinconHillSF.org in due time.

  1. Hi Jamie, congratulations on the increasing traffic. I read your blog pretty regularly, but haven’t posted anything because I don’t live in Rincon Hill. I do work in the area, which is why I enjoy reading it. Just wanted to say hello. Keep up the great work.

  2. Thank you, Walker! I hope folks who work in the area feel welcome to share information on this Rincon Hill neighborhood community bulletin board too. Thanks for reading and the kind comments!
