Rincon Hill Resident Guide, Winter 2008 Edition

I started working on this project on Thanksgiving Day, and I worked on it in fits and starts until today, December 26, 2007. I am happy to publish (online only) the very first Rincon Hill Resident Guide.

The primary purpose of the guide is to provide a reference for residents (especially new residents) of the Rincon Hill neighborhood that helps them to become acclimated with what is available nearby. A secondary purpose is to establish an ongoing project for neighbors in Rincon Hill to contribute information to share with other Rincon Hill residents. I tentatively plan to update this guide in June and December of each year.

This premiere edition of the guide is pretty good, if I don’t say so myself, but it has the potential to be much more useful with your input in future editions. Please send an e-mail with the content you would like to submit for consideration for the Rincon Hill Resident Guide to RinconHill@gmail.com and write Resident Guide in the subject line. Please note that the Rincon Hill neighborhood blog and related materials, like the Rincon Hill Resident Guide, are the results of a non-commercial effort by Jamie Whitaker to help improve the quality of life in Rincon Hill. As such, your contributions are greatly appreciated, but they cannot be compensated. However, each contributor will be acknowledged by name at the start of the section in which their content appears in the guide.

Hope you have a happy and safe holiday season!
