Reorganization meeting

With a membership list encompassing much of South of Market, from the Embarcadero to the North Mission, Mid-Market to the Mission Bay and South Beach developments, the SoMa Leadership Council has been an influential presence in city politics for almost ten years.

The strength of this organization has always been its diversity. Longtime residents and recent arrivals, renters and homeowners, artists, musicians, small business owners and entrepreneurs — everyone who appreciates SoMa as a good place to live, work and play — have driven our agenda.

The SoMa Leadership Council needs your help. Tomorrow night’s meeting is the beginning of an effort to create a more participatory leadership structure. If you agree that SoMa should remain a “compassionate, diverse, vibrant and complete neighborhood,” please attend tomorrow’s meeting and help chart the future of this organization.

The SoMa Leadership Council meets on the third Wednesday of every month at The Arc of San Francisco. The council is a private neighborhood organization but the public is always welcome to attend and participate. For more information, visit us at …
