Protective Bird on Front Street near California Street

Friday morning, I wandered over to Lee’s Deli on Front Street to pick up a bagel with a smear to start the work day. Just after walking out of Lee’s, I felt a bird land on and peck my head. I experienced a similar issue with a bird on DeHaro near 16th when I used to live in Potrero Hill and exercise at World Gym. Anyway, apparently it has become quite the source of entertainment as the bird has struck quite a few passerby. If you’re going to turn up Front Street from California, do it on the west side of the Street (Charles Schwab on the corner). As they used to say at the end of the old G.I. Joe cartoons, “knowing is half the battle.”
