The New Wheel Offers Electric Bikes for San Franciscans

I’m always happy to let folks know about new small businesses in downtown San Francisco that may be of interest to SoMa waterfront residents. Today, I received a press release from Brett Thurber, owner of a new electric bicycle company called The New Wheel, announcing the opening of New Wheel’s showroom space in a shop shared with Dylan’s Tours at 782 Columbus Avenue. Go test ride an electric bike at The New Wheel (maybe phone them at 415-524-7362 to make sure their doors are open, but the current hours listed are everyday from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.).
I’m especially pleased to offer this information to neighbors as it might push 1 or 2 folks out of their cars and onto a more green-friendly mode of transportation to get around San Francisco. A test ride going up Telegraph Hill is a good way to see how electric bikes help you to navigate the hills of San Francisco on two wheels. Check out their promo video embedded below!
